A kinship tie: an architecture relationship between members, typed by RelationshipKind instance data (parent, spouse; biological, adoptive, step, foster as kind taxonomy; the family-ties demo vocabulary loads as a catalog). Spouse kinships carry the GEDCOM FAM xref and family events (marriage, divorce).
